GROUP CLASSES

Pilates With Nikita offers small group classes on the Pilates reformer at competitive prices, making it affordable to practice Pilates on a more regular basis – ideally at least 3 times a week.

 

By limiting the number of participants in the group classes, your instructor will be able to give each client personal attention with a focus on correct form and alignment, thereby resulting in changes in posture, physique and overall strength.

 

The 'Level 1' class is designed for clients who are new to Pilates. Focus will be on the main principles of Pilates - breathing, core control and spinal articulation, while providing an introduction to the basic reformer exercises in order to progress to the 'All Levels' and 'Level 3' classes. The 'All Levels' class is designed for beginner clients who must have taken at least 5 Pilates classes as well as intermediate level clients. Focus will be on mastering good form and correct posture while performing the basic reformer exercises, with the aim of progressing to the more advanced exercises. The 'Level 3' class is designed for more advanced clients who have been practicing Pilates regularly for at least a year. Clients must have good core strength and be free of injuries in order to participate in this class. Focus will be on learning to master the more advanced exercises in the Pilates repertoire while moving at a faster pace than the 'Level 1' and 'All Levels' classes.
